So sorry to hear about HarleeGrace.  It's tough when you think it might be time for the tube.  I hope the the sores in her mouth go away quickly and she is able to eat without any pain.  Big hugs.

Hi

Ben still bits his mouth a lot.  He has the habit of chewing whenever he is tired.

We had some great cream called adcortyl in orabase, this is a thick cream that you hold on the wound for 30 seconds and it forms a seal over it and the steroid in the cream reduces the swelling in the wound, so it goes down quick and you don't keep catching it.  Annoyingly in the UK they have stopped making it recently so we can only get plain orabase now, it still seals the wound nicely and helps but isn't as good, I wonder if you can get it in the US.

Secondly Ben's dentist makes a mouth guard for him by taking an impression of his top teeth and making a thin shield that we put over his top teeth whenever he is tired and chewing so that when he does accidentally catch himself the bit doesn't do as much damage.  Hope you know what I mean, if not there's a picture on his website.  www.allaboutben.co.uk

Hope Harleegrace feels better soon.

Sally & Ben x
